Phuket Island, located off the southwest
coast of Thailand, 885 km south of Bangkok, is about the same size
as Singapore. There are wonderful beaches around the whole island
but the main holiday areas are located on the west coast facing
the Andaman Sea.
To the north east, lies Phang-nga Bay. An area
of spectacular limestone scenery which includes lots of tiny unusually
shaped islands easily accessible by boat from Phuket.
To the south lie the Phi Phi Islands - famous for
their stunning beauty, great snorkelling and white sandy beaches.
