On this auspicious occasion, homes and public buildings throughout
the Kingdom are decorated with glittering fairy lights as an expression
of reverence and loyalty to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. Half-Marathon
Charity Run organised by the Suan Luang Club in honour of the
Queen's birthday. There will be a 21-km half-marathon (Costs 250 baht),
a 10.5-km mini-marathon (200 baht) and a 3.5-km fun run (100 baht).
Register at the park or Phuket Bike Shop and the run starts 5am. |

festival, thousands of participants adopt a strict vegetarian diet
