A donation of Baht 79,000 was handed over to the Phuket Special School for Handicapped Children raised throughout the period of the Classic by Raffles and Auction Sales and donations by anglers. Nations represented in The Classic included: Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Thailand, Germany, Denmark, Brunei, Switzerland, Italy, Indonesia, USA and Finland.
