is the perfect place to base oneself on a holiday in Phuket, not

available and the number of operators in business in Patong however,
we do recommend that you check out what is on offer through your
hotel or within close vicinty thereto - you may find some great

Fishing
Mahi mahi (dorado), tuna, sailfish, marlin and other species
abound in the blue waters of the Andaman. Depending on the tides,
you can test your skills against the renowned marlin at the Drop-off,
near the Similan Islands.
The deep blue waters of the Andaman Sea are ideal for gamefish,
and the region is on the migratory paths of classic fighting fish

Golf

Junk Tours
The Nakalay Junk offers evening and day cruises leaving
from the Tilok Jetty adjacent to Thavorn Beach Village at Kalim
Beach (approximately 10 minutes drive from Patong). This converted
rice barge - which was featured as the pirate ship in the blockbuster
movie "Cutthroat Island" - has a definate piratical charm about
it which appeals very much to the romantically inclined.
A Sunset Cruise sails along Bang Tao Bay allowing visitors to
view specatacular tropical coastal scenery awash with the muted
pinks and oranges of the setting sun. Cocktails and snacks are
served during the 3 hour trip, with free round transfer from your
hotel included.
A Dinner Cruise is also available and affords the opportunity
to cruise down to BangTao Bay while sipping cocktails under the
setting sun. When night falls, admire the night-time splendour
