Patong has a number of banks that provide standard services, Mondays
to Fridays, except public and bank holidays, between 8.30am and
3.30pm. Most major banks are found along Rat-U-Thit Road that runs
parallel to the beach, a block back from the main beach strip. Currency
exchange centers also operate from several locations around the
entire area from 7.00am to 9.00pm, seven days a week including holidays,
and most major hotels will provide some exchange services also.
