About Bang Saen
Situated around 20 kilometers out of Pattaya, Bangsean is virtually unknown to the streams of tourists that frequent the downtown area. A popular haunt of Bangkok dwellers, there is a bigger ratio of locals to foreigners, which for many is the big draw. Expect fewer bars, shops and general entertainment venues in Bangsean; the antithesis to Walking Street is Pattaya's softer side.
