Koh Chang Nightlife
The diverse concentration of tourists on Koh Chang means that the available nightlife accommodates a variety of preferences. For typical island beach chilling and cheap alcohol, the various beach bars should satisfy. With their lazy ambience and outdoor areas scattered with cushions, it is easy to make yourself comfortable for the night!
Families may prefer to head down to Klong Prao Beach where clean and comfortable pub-style establishments have enough games to keep the kids entertained while parents enjoy an evening drink. For something a tad more lively, the island houses a few karaoke bars and old school rave-style clubs where some cheesy classics which will leave you suitably nostalgic.
White Sand Beach Nightlife
The most lively of all Koh Chang's beaches, this stretch of land is littered with live music venues, pool bars and dance clubs. Home to 'Little Pattaya', the area has a risqué side with a small congregation of beer bars.
Popular venues on this beach include: Sabai Bar, Ooodies Place and 15 Palms, each of them lively and a good place to meet other tourists in the mood for some fun. Lonely Beach Nightlife
Where the traveller resides usually a wild night of partying follows suit. Home to Koh Chang's full and half-moon parties, don't expect quite the same extent of hedonism found on Koh Phagnan, but the parties are pretty wild all the same. Cheap cocktails, buckets of beer and Songsan (Thai whiskey) keep the mood upbeat until the wee hours.
Check out the famous Tree House and Lemon Bar, where the party is usually in full swing. Beach fires, accompanied by some quintessential reggae beats, a few buckets of a mood-lightening cocktails and a bit of late-night dancing sounds about right for Lonely Beach. (Read more...)
Klong Prao Beach Nightlife
Although this beach is not renowned for its hardcore party scene, it features an assortment of chilled out drinking venues that are equipped with pool tables, board games and large TV screens for sports fans.
Tamer than the neighboring White Sand Beach and Lonely Beach but none the less equipped with places to drink, relax and mingle. Check out the funky Zigamar offering some refreshing island jazz beats. Alternatively, you can relax with a loved one at the elegant and well accommodating River Island Café, where chilled drinks are served before the tranquil sound of waves crashing against the shore.
