a jungle covered landscape with limestone mountains and deep valleys

forest and stay overnight.

Itinerary

Pick up your from hotel in Khao Lak and travel to the elephant
camp in Phang Nga for an exciting elephant trek into the jungle.
Before the trek, learn about elephant conservation in Thailand.
|
|
After your trek, it's time for a packed lunch or some Thai
food (don't worry not too spicy!) depending on the weather.
Then travel by Land Rover on small back roads for a short
jungle trek to a local waterfall. Reward yourself with a swim
in the cool clear water before continuing your trek to the
mangroves.

Get ready to board your inflatable dinghy for a trip through
the mangroves, where Macaque monkeys and other wildlife can
be seen in this unspoilt area. (Life jackets are provided)
Return to your hotel in Khao Lak.

Jungle Safari - Khao Sok - 1 Day

The natural scenery around Khao Sok National Park is some of the
best in Southern Thailand and what better way to see it than from
a canoe? Go with the flow, passing limestone mountains covered in
jungle along the banks of the Sok river. The tour also includes
a short elephant trek and a Thai buffet lunch.

Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak and drive through the
countryside of Phang Nga province, passing rubber plantations
and small villages. Cross over the rain forest covered mountains
into Khao Sok National Park
|

Arrive at the river and board your canoe for the trip down
the Sok river. Sit back and relax, your guide will paddle,
giving you time to appreciate the beauty of the jungle covered
limestone mountains along the banks of the river. Look out
for birds such as Kingfisher, Herm, Egret and even wild monkeys
who live in this area.

Time for a Thai buffet lunch (not too spicy!)

Drive to Siam Safari Elephant Camp for information about
elephants and their conservation in Thailand. Explore the
jungle sitting high on the back of the elephant and experience
that "close to nature" atmosphere. Late afternoon
arrive back at your hotel.

Jungle Safari - Khao Sok - 2 Days/1 Night

Make the most of this stunning area. Spend a night in Khao
Sok National Park. No need to get too basic - our accommodation
on the edge of the park has air conditioning and hot water. You
can go elephant trekking, canoe down the river and take time to
appreciate some of the best natural scenery in southern Thailand.

Itinerary
|
|
|
|
Day 1
|
Pick up from your hotel and drive through the countryside
of Phang Nga province, passing rubber plantations and small
villages. On route take a short trek to one of the most spectacular
waterfalls in the area. Waterfalls are wonderful places to
swim, so don't forget your swimsuit!

|
Arrive at Siam Safari Elephant Camp for information about
elephant conservation in Thailand. Trek on the back of an
elephant into the jungle and get back to nature away from
the tourist crowds.
Packed lunch or a selection of Thai dishes (not too spicy!)
depending on the weather.

|
In the afternoon, drive to the west side of Khao Sok National
Park and check into your accommodation. Rooms are International
standard with hot water and air conditioning and there is
a swimming pool. Relax on the
edge of the jungle in peace and quiet. Dinner and overnight
at the resort.

Day 2
|
After breakfast check out and visit a local market. Cross
over the forest covered mountains to Khao Sok. Lunch - local
Thai food.
|
|
|
Arrive at the river and board your canoe for the trip down
