Thailand's legendary and economic shopping has rubbed off well on Hua Hin, with everything from electrical appliances, clothes, interior furnishings, plants, tailored clothing and jewelry being widely available. The newly opened Market Village will satisfy the needs of the extravagant shopper with its branded stores and wide range of international apparel being sold at affordable prices.
The numerous markets within the town offer intricate crafts and all sorts of unique goods – the perfect souvenirs of your time spent in Hua Hin. The once sleepy costal town has also become a hub of Thailand's contemporary art scene, featuring several galleries.
What to Buy
The burgeoning art scene in Hua Hin makes it a good place to buy local art. Although the town is not renowned for its ceramics in the same way Sukothai is, it still remains a place to find some interesting stuff for the house. Be careful not to end up paying a fortune for excess luggage when returning home; perhaps think about shipping items back.

The 'Night Market' is situated in central Hua Hin and a definite port of call for those who want to view a wide range of goods. Busier on weekends, a mid-week visit may be slightly less frustrating and more enjoyable away from the crowds that swarm the area on a Saturday.
Other markets where fresh produce, clothes, trinkets and home furnishings can be bought include Chat Chai, the market outside The Grand Hotel and Pae Mai, open day and night. The newly-opened Market Village shopping complex features Levi's, Timberland and Lacoste stores.
