General Description  

Located in the beautiful Mae Rim Valley, close to orchid and butterfly farms, hill tribe villages and elephant trekking. The Four Seasons Resort pays tribute to the artistic and cultural heritage of Chiang Mai with clusters of spacious Lanna-style pavilions, (70 sq m) decorated with rich Thai materials and fabrics. Pavilions overlook gardens, terraced rice paddies and mountains. Eleven palatial Residence Suites housed in 3 & 4 storey villas offer live-in house keeper, private plunge pools or rooftop penthouse.

For those that prefer their workouts indoors, a fully equipped fitness and exercise studio is available for the health enthusiast. Features include strength and cardio-vascular training equipment. Outdoor options abound at the resort. The Tennis and Health Club is managed by Peter Burwash International (PBI). Facilities include two floodlit tennis courts -- available on a complimentary basis. A full-time tennis professional is on staff to provide instruction. The Regent Resort Chiang Mai also offers guests the complimentary use of two Finnish saunas and an outdoor heated whirlpool which is adjacent to the 20 meter infinity edge swimming pool from where they can view the Mae Rim valley across picturesque rice terraces.
