General Description

The Bay View Resort consists of split level bungalows situated on the hillside of the Laem Hin beach and surrounded by thick trees and gardens. From the bungalows you have a panoramic view across Tonsai bay and of Phi Phi Lae Island. At the front of the resort lies a 380 meter wide pure white sandy beach. Our bungalows provide enviable comfort and privacy whilst offering the best views available on the island. All rooms feature private balconies overlooking spectacular blue sea and are surrounded by natural jungle. The most important aspect of the resort is the location. Outstanding views are realized from most bungalows because of the hillside location and the resort is at the quiet end of a long beach but only 15 minutes walk from the pier and the heart of the village.

Transportation Information
There are two main locations where most hotels & resorts on Phi Phi Island are located, Tonsai Bay and Laem Tong. You may have alternatives to reach Phi Phi Islands by either Speedboat or Local Ferry. It’s better to know where your selected resort / hotel is, and please ensure the tour companies that you have booked your transportation, will disembark you near the resort.

Speedboat
It takes approximately 1 hour / way from Phuket to Phi Phi Island. You can check with the hotel if they can arrange this kind of service or you can book this through any tour companies. Advanced reservation is required. However, we would not recommend speedboat during the monsoon season (May - October).

Local Ferry
It takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes - 2 hours / way from Phuket to Phi Phi Island. Some local ferries stop at Tonsai Bay only, which you must take a local long-tail boat to hotels Laem Tong (If your hotel is in Laem Tong). However, if you book with some ferry company, it can offer to take you to both locations, Tonsai Bay & Laem Tong. Advanced reservation is required for both choices.
** It takes approximately 1 hour - 1 and a half hour at least to go from/to Phuket International Airport to the Phuket Pier. Please ensure that your arrival & departure flights are suitable with the following ferry schedule.

From Phuket to Phi Phi Island
- Morning Departs at 08:30 hrs. and arrive around 10:00 hrs.
- Afternoon Departs at 13:30 hrs. and arrive around 15:30 hrs.
From Phi Phi Island to Phuket
- Morning Departs at 09:00 hrs. and arrive around 11:00 hrs.
- Afternoon Departs at 14:30 hrs. and arrive around 16:00 hrs.

Krabi
Krabi province has some of Thailand's most breathtaking scenery, with stunning beaches, limestone cliffs and colourful coral reefs. Ao Nang with a good choice of restaurants and hotels is Krabi's most popular beach. Ao Nang also provides a embarkation point for beautiful Railey Beach - accessible only by boat. Many of the more upscale hotels are located on developing Klong Muang and nearby Tubkaak - a very quiet beach area - providing a perfect holiday retreat. Ko Lanta and the Phi Phi Islands are part of Krabi province and both lie within a designated marine national park.
