For many this is the area of choice – just 15 minutes from Pattaya City, guests can party in moderation or opt out completely and use Pattaya as a relaxation destination. Upscale family resorts are abundant; and don’t expect much in the way of nightlife bar activity, including girls. Few properties are directly situated on the beachfront due to the fact that the Beach Road blocks the road. The curving coastline offers plenty to do with water sports, island tours, offbeat museums, fishing, golf and a famously vibrant nightlife, especially around South Pattaya. If you want to relax away from the crowd, Jomtien offers a more relaxed option.
