Our 60 picturesque Riverside huts. Opened for select seasons and closed during the rainy season due to flooding of the river Pai, we offer you a picturesque riverside village with locally made huts. Only 2 minutes from the town and bus station you will find our handmade bamboo bridge over the Pai River and shortly thereafter, our village.
A village of natural huts made of bamboo and dried leaves, the most basic natural materials that have been used for hundreds of years by the hill tribe people - Baan Pai Riverside is the ultimate Pai experience!
Our bamboo sala restaurant overlooking the flowing Pai River is an excellent place to sit and enjoy your breakfast. For the evening, we have a camp fire and on some nights, whole roast pork barbecue on the terrace with excellent local corn brewed liquor served from bamboo cups - definitely an experience to tell your friends at home about. The weather sometimes drops to 15 - 2 0C on winter nights so make sure to bring a sweater and your sense of adventure.

About Mae Hong Son
Mae Hong Son is a picturesque, mountainous northern province bordering Myanmar (Burma) to the west and the north. The area has many Burmese influences reflected in the various hilltribes and different temple styles. The province has great natural beauty with rugged mountains, waterfalls and caves. The main city, also called Mae Hon Son is also referred to as the "City of Three Mists" after the morning mists which settle in November and December and the enigmatic mist generated from the rain in the monsoon season. In addition to the impressive natural scenery, one of the big attractions of Mae Hong Son Province are the sunflower fields near Khun Yuam about 60 km south of Mae Hong Son town, which bloom in November.
