About Bangna:
Only 20 minutes from the Skytrain (BTS) station On Nut, Bangna is considered a prime area of Bangkok due to its rapid commercial and industrial growth over recent years. It has just about everything to please even the most discerning city dwellers and travellers. You can go shopping at one of Asia’s largest shopping malls (Seacon Square), practice your putting skills at the many golf courses, or visit the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
Bangna is also relatively close to the riverside and historical attractions. If you prefer to avoid central Bangkok, Bangna offers an excellent alternative. In addition to more than 400 retail shops, there are multiplex cinemas at Seacon Square, a bowling complex, a huge 2,500-seat food centre, the world's largest indoor entertainment park, minigolf and a roller blade rink with speed tracks - just to name a few.
Bangna provides an easy route to the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estates and the eastern part of Thailand to places like Pattaya. Its location close to the new Suvarnabhumi International Airport is set to stimulate further growth and development.
Thailand's thriving and lively capital city is one of the best reasons for visiting. The new underground rail system and Skytrain now link most of the main tourist and business areas, allowing easy access to virtually anywhere in the city. The old city area (Rattanakosin) and the riverside are becoming popular areas near Bangkok's temples but if you're a shopaholic, head for Sukhumvit, Ploenchit and Rachaprasong.
